The Process of Booking a Photography Session:
You've made up your mind, and want to nail down a date for a session with me - Yay! It's super easy, but here a step-by-step guide on what to expect in the process.
- Inquire: The first step in booking a photography session is to inquire. There are two ways to go about this. You can either choose a date and time within my online calendar for me to review, and accept your booking. Or you can send me an email, so we can start to plan your session. Once you inquire, I will be in touch regarding the date you've inquired about. Then we will schedule a quick call. During this call, we will discuss your vision for the shoot, location options, outfit choices, and any other important details. You can inquire
- Agreement: Once we have agreed on the details of the shoot, you will be provided with a contract to sign that outlines the services being provided, the date, time, location, and the fees. The contract will also include information on any retainer or deposit required to secure the booking.
- Payment: After you have reviewed and signed the contract, you will be required to pay any applicable retainer or deposit to secure the booking. The remaining balance is typically due on or before the day of the shoot.
- Preparation: Leading up to the shoot, you should prepare any necessary props or clothing options and confirm the date, time, and location with me. You will also receive email reminders with your session details. It's also important to communicate any last-minute changes or concerns with your photographer to ensure a smooth and successful session.
- Photography Session: On the day of the shoot, you will meet me at the agreed-upon location at the scheduled time. Just a heads up - I will be really excited to see you! We will have a blast! Don't worry, I will guide you through various poses and suggest ways to interact with each other to capture natural and cherished moments. The session may last anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Delivery. The turnaround time for delivery will be anywhere from 2-4 weeks. I will reach out to you once I have begun processing your images, so you can get excited!
